NIC students encouraged to apply for NASA scholarships

Undergraduate scholarships are available to North Idaho College students through the NASA Idaho Space Grant Scholarship Program.
Because the Idaho Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) was granted designated status by NASA this year, the organization’s funding doubled and now at least one ISGC scholarship will be awarded to a student from each college and university in Idaho.
NIC is a member institution of the ISGC, so NIC students can apply for $1,000 scholarships, renewable for four years.
The students must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a NASA-related discipline, which includes science, math, engineering or science/math education. The student must also be a United States citizen and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The deadline for receipt of application packets is March 1.
