NIC art student wins scholarship award

|photo1|North Idaho College art student Claire Blahnik of Coeur d’Alene was recently selected as a recipient of the Ruth Clark Scholarship. The $300 award is distributed by the Idaho Watercolor Society and includes a one-year membership for the award recipient.
Blahnik was nominated by NIC Art Instructor Donna Bain, based on the criteria of being an art major and showing passion for and excelling in water media.
Blahnik, who is originally from Maui, Hawaii, plans to become an art teacher.
