Community invited to meet NIC vice president for student services candidates
After a nationwide search, the search committee for the North Idaho College vice president for student services position has selected four candidates with whom to begin the interview process.
NIC staff, faculty, students and community members will have the opportunity to meet the candidates in a series of open forums from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room of NIC’s Edminster Student Union Building.
The open forum with James Daniels, dean of student development at Montgomery College in Rockville, Md., will be Thursday, May 11.
Michael Stearney, assistant dean for enrollment and academic services at the University of Wisconsin—Green Bay in Green Bay, Wis., will be on campus Monday, May 15.
Jane Grassadonia, director of residence education at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., will meet with NIC employees and students and the public Wednesday, May 17.
The open forum with Eric Murray, dean of student affairs at the University of Montana Western in Dillon, Mont., will be Tuesday, May 23.
The selection committee is accepting public input and comment sheets will be collected following the forums.
