NIC president selected to AACC executive committee
|photo1|North Idaho College President Michael Burke was recently selected to the executive committee of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC).
The executive committee comprises a chair, chair-elect and past chair along with five committee chairs that oversee public policy and government relations, program initiatives, directors, college advancement and audit and finance. Burke will serve a one-year term as the chair of the audit and finance committee of the AACC’s 32-member governing board.
Burke also represents the western United States on the AACC Presidents Academy Executive Committee.
The AACC is a national organization based in Washington, D.C. that represents nearly 1,200 community, junior and technical colleges.For More Information
