NIC to hold auditions for ‘Same Time, Next Year'

The North Idaho College Theater Department will be holding auditions for its spring production of “Same Time, Next Year” Monday, Feb. 19 and Tuesday, Feb. 20. Auditions will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in Room 001 in the basement of Boswell Hall.
One man and one woman are needed to play characters who age from their 20s to their 50s during the course of the play.
“Same Time, Next Year” is a romantic comedy that explores a lifetime of morals and attitudes mirrored in romance of lovers George and Doris. The play is intended for an adult audience due to sexual themes and some strong language.
Rehearsals will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Feb. 26. This is a dinner theater production running from April 19 through 22.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Prepared material is not necessary. Scripts will be available from NIC Theater Director Joe Jacoby in Boswell Hall Room 227. Call in advance to obtain a script.
