Dementia from a Physician's Perspective

Dementia now affects over three million Americans and their families. There are six types of dementia with Alzheimer’s being the most common. There is increasing evidence that identifying dementia and treating it early is key to a better outcome. This talk will explore the types of dementias and their initial evaluation as well as various treatment interventions.
The Health Talk Series is held in Meyer Health and Sciences Building, room 106, on the main NIC campus. It is free and open to the public.
