North Idaho College women’s basketball coaches and players will lead a weeklong girls’ basketball camp June 11-14 to help participants improve their basketball skills.
The Girls’ Summer Basketball Skills Camp will help players develop their skills in both individual skills and team concepts, including shooting, defense, ball handling, screens, passing technique, one-on-one techniques and position play.
The camp will be progressive in instruction, building on the previous session’s lessons so campers develop their entire game.
The camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon daily for campers entering the third through sixth grades. Camp will be from 1 to 4 p.m. for those entering seventh through ninth grades. All camp instruction will be in NIC’s Christianson Gym, located on NIC’s main campus.
Cost is $90 and includes a t-shirt and a daily snack.
Room is still available for both age groups, but space is limited. Reserve a spot by calling (208) 769-3347.
