NIC's Outdoor Pursuits to offer rock climbing clinic

Climbers of all ability levels are encouraged to take part in a four-part rock climbing clinic offered by North Idaho College’s Outdoor Pursuits.

The clinic will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays June 19 and 26 and July 10 and 17. Participants will meet for the first session in the Outdoor Pursuits Office on the lower level of NIC’s Edminster Student Union Building. All subsequent sessions will be held at Q’emiln Riverside Park in Post Falls.

The clinic is designed as an introduction to rock climbing and will include safety training, knot tying, belaying, climbing techniques and anchoring.

Cost is $100 and includes all gear. Space is limited.
