NIC instructor to present at national geology conference

North Idaho College Geology Instructor Bill Richards will be presenting at the national Geological Society of America annual meeting and exposition in Minneapolis, Minn.

Richards will present on using technology to create a virtual laboratory experience. Using Gigapixel technology, high-resolution images of samples and even field-trip locations can be viewed by students taking online courses.

The national conference will be Oct. 9-12.
