Space still available in NIC Ponderay Center business writing course

Space is still available in a business writing course offered this spring at the North Idaho College Ponderay Center, located at 300 Bonner Mall Way.

English 272 covers the practical application of business writing principles for memos, letters, reports and job searches with an emphasis on audience analysis, content planning, language effectiveness and message layout. The class helps develop the writing skills necessary for effective business communication, both written and electronic. The class will be taught by Amy Flint, who has a strong background in both writing and business.

Two other new classes are being offered spring semester at the NIC Ponderay Center including Introduction to Theatre and Survey of Art.

Registration begins on Oct. 31. Community members interested in taking the class without pursuing a degree will not be required to complete NIC’s admission process. For more information on how to register, stop by the center inside the Bonner Mall or call (208) 263-4594.
