In a tight matchup, the No. 7-seeded North Idaho College women’s volleyball team fell to the No. 10 seed College of Central Florida in three sets (26-24, 28-26, 25-13) in the first round of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national tournament in West Plains, Mo.
In the double elimination tournament, NIC can still place as high as ninth in the nation. NIC will take on No. 15 seed Western Texas College at 8 a.m. (Pacific Time) Friday, Nov. 18. The match will be webcast live at on http://www.ihigh.com/njcaatv/ and www.psblive.com.
