North Idaho College will hold an information session guiding prospective students through the admissions process for the radiography technology program at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22 in the Meyer Health and Sciences Building Room 102 on NIC’s main campus.
Students will be applying for fall semester 2012. The program is a five-semester associate’s degree program that prepares students for careers as radiologic technologists in settings such as hospitals, clinics and imaging centers. To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on required courses and must have completed course prerequisites as outlined with a minimum grade of C (2.0) or better.
The program has a selective admissions process and program applications will be accepted through March 2. NIC Health Professions and Nursing Division staff will walk students through the application process during the information session.
The session is free and open to anyone interested.
