NIC Children's Center preschoolers take on Cardinals

(Above) North Idaho College Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jared Phay (right) and NIC Children’s Center teacher Felicia Hopkins lead the 4- and 5-year-olds from the Children’s Center in a team cheer following a scrimmage with the Cardinals. The Children’s Center philosophy allows the children to learn through the exploration of experiences initiated by their own interests. The kids in the preschool class have been investigating basketball and created their own team jerseys (courtesy of AHA Productions) and team mascot, the Fire Huggers.
