A total of 10 graduates recently completed the North Idaho College Basic Patrol Academy, which is Peace Officers Standards Training-approved.
Several members of the class earned honors at the conclusion of their training. Michael Stegner, of the Nez Perce Tribal Police Department, earned the Most Improved Physical Fitness Award; Alexander Shaw, of Sandpoint, earned the Top Physical Fitness Award; Cody Robertson, of the Post Falls Police Department, earned the Outstanding Professional Award; Brian Michels, of the Post Falls Police Department, earned the Top Gun Award; Brian Harrison, of Coeur d’Alene, earned the Outstanding Academics Award and the Top Overall Student Award.
