Area high school students take part in Women in Science

North Idaho College Biology Instructor Rhena Cooper teaches two Coeur d’Alene High School students during the “Women in Science” event held at the University of Idaho’s extension on NIC’s campus Tuesday, Oct. 9. About 150 students from area high schools are attending the two-day event, which is designed to inspire young women to pursue degrees in math and science.
