The community is invited to a forum hosted by North Idaho College on “The Faces of Education,” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 in the Edminster Student Union Lake Coeur d’Alene Room.
Hosted by NIC Communication, Fine Arts, and Humanities Chair Sherry Simkins, the panel will explore issues related to education. Panelists include Michelle Lippert, Post Falls School Board trustee and NIC instructor; Mark Cotner, Kootenai Technical Education Campus (KTEC) professional-technical programs director; and Mark Browning, NIC vice president for community relations and marketing and former chief communications and legislative officer for the Idaho State Board of Education.
The forum is part of Cardinal Connections, which is an annual symposium program that connects campus and community and explores issues affecting the community today. The public is encouraged to attend this free event.
