First Coeur d'Alene Crossing raises $3,500 for NIC
North Idaho College President Joe Dunlap and members of the NIC Athletics Department and NIC Booster Club were presented with a check for $3,500 from the Coeur d’Alene Crossing 2.4, LLC recently. The Coeur d’Alene Crossing is a 2.4-mile open water swim on Lake Coeur d’Alene that benefitted three local charities including the NIC Booster Club, Union Gospel Mission and Coeur d’Alene Area Swim team. The event was created with the support of the Coeur d’Alene Resort, Hagadone Marine Group, financial planners Marcheso & Associates and NIC Athletics Director Al Williams. This year’s event attracted more than 130 swimmers of all ages.
