North Idaho College is seeking its third consecutive trip to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) tournament at the Region 18 tournament, hosted by College of Southern Idaho on Nov. 2-3.
The Lady Cardinals (20-4) are ranked No. 8 in the nation and seeded third in the tournament. NIC will take on sixth-seeded Colorado Northwestern Community College (0-23) at 9 a.m. Pacific time Friday, Nov. 2. The winner of that game will move on to face No. 2-seed Salt Lake Community College (22-6) at 3 p.m. (Pacific Time) Friday. The winner will advance to the NJCAA tournament. Region 18 is the only conference in the NJCAA that receives two representatives at the NJCAA volleyball national tournament, due to the league’s strength of schedule and prior national tournament performance.
