Governor tours NIC welding facility

Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter toured the North Idaho College welding facility Thursday. Otter, who has taken several welding classes at the College of Western Idaho, spent an hour talking to NIC welding students and instructors while checking out the facility. Katie Brodie, Otter’s assistant in North Idaho, said the governor likes to visit various companies and institutions across the state when he gets the chance.
