Auditions to be held for NIC's production of ‘SYM'

Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013

The North Idaho College Theatre Department is holding open auditions for the dramatic dance symphony “SYM” written by NIC composition instructor Gerard Mathes at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 and at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 in the Edminster Student Union Building.

There are openings for eight male and eight female roles who can move, dance, sing or speak. Auditioners should prepare a one-minute poem or speech to present and be prepared to do dance steps and movement exercises. Some speaking materials will be provided.

Production dates are April 18 - 21.
