Police sketch released on reported attacker

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department has released an artist rendering based on victim recollection of the male suspect involved in the reported attempted rape that occurred at about 10:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11.

If you or someone you know saw anything the night of Jan. 11, please contact police immediately at (208) 769-2320. A description of the alleged attacker, as reported is as follows: White male, approximately 5’9”, average build, approximately 35-40 years of age, blondish/red facial hair, mustache and “stubble,” wearing a brown Carhartt type jacket, gray beanie hat, and boots.

Please always be aware of your surroundings and call Campus Security at (208) 769-3310 if you feel the need to be escorted to your vehicle for any reason and please call 911 to report suspicious behavior or criminal activity.
