Students welcome to participate in Day of the Dead event

Day of the Dead Latino Club studentsThe North Idaho College Latino Club will host a special event honoring the Day of the Dead from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 in the Edminster Student Union Building Ts'elusm Dining Room. The event will include free face painting, candy, masks for children to color, and a dinner of tamale, rice and beans, and a drink for $5. Wear your Halloween costume and bring a picture of a loved one in your life that is deceased to honor them on a decorated table display and Latino Club members will explain the tradition behind the Day of the Dead.
