NIC radiography technology program now accepting

Students have until March 7 to submit an application for a North Idaho College program that can lead to a job with a country-wide median pay of $26.88/hour that is also expected to grow by 21 percent by 2022, according to the U.S. Dept. of Labor.

The radiography technology program is a five-semester associate’s degree program that prepares students for careers as radiologic technologists in settings such as hospitals, clinics and imaging centers. Students will be applying for fall semester 2014.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on required courses and must have completed course prerequisites as outlined with a minimum grade of C (2.0) or better.

Applications are available in the Health Professions Office in the Meyer Health and Sciences Building Room 257, in the NIC Admissions Office in Lee-Kildow Hall or by calling (208) 676-7132. An application can be downloaded here.
