Using NICOnline on a PC
NIC recommends that PC users use Internet Explorer 7 and be current on all updates. Mozilla Firefox does work with NICOnline, but displays text only.
Using NICOnline on a Mac
NIC recommends that Mac users use Safari for OS X and be current on all updates. Mozilla Firefox does work with NICOnline, but displays text only. Internet Explorer for Macs does not work with NICOnline.
Useful tips for MAC Users:
- To select something from a dropdown menu, such as a term or advising option (for faculty advisors), click the dropdown arrow and use the spacebar to select the desired item.
- To select a check box (such as a term to view grades for, term to submit grades for, or a class to view a roster for), hold down the control key and click the mouse.
- To move between fields (such as on the grading screen from one student to another or on the search for classes pages to navigate through search criteria fields) use the 'tab' key or the arrow keys.
