Instructional Program Reviews

All instructional disciplines and programs are currently reviewed every five years through a comprehensive program review process that includes a self-study report prepared by the department and a one-day visit by an external team of reviewers. The recommendations from the external review teams are used by the faculty and administrators to design program improvements where needed.

Instructional Support Departments

Under the current Outcomes Assessment Plan, a review instrument for student support departments is currently being developed for departments such as the Library, Computer Labs, College Skills Center, Advising and Counseling Services, Disability Support Services, Admissions, Registration and Financial Aid Services, Child Care Center and others. Once instituted, reviews of student support departments will be conducted regularly to assist the departments in their continuous improvement efforts.
