The Office of Institutional Planning, Assessment, and Research supports
campus-wide planning, assessment, and accreditation efforts that
lead to continuous improvements at NIC.
Goals for 2007-2008 . . .

Support the continued development
of coordinated institutional research services and projects

Develop and implement the
department review process for support departments and
administrative departments

Continue implementing NIC's
Outcomes Assessment Plan through scheduled activities and
surveys, and through projects that focus on best practices in
assessment

Continue developing a
college-wide system of planning and assessment that leads to the
documentation of institutional effectiveness and continuous
improvement

Coordinate the preparation of the
self-study report for the five-year interim accreditation visit
in Spring 2008

Track NIC's Strategic Plan
progress for 2007-2008
