MEMORANDUM

To: The College Community
From: Michael Burke
Date: April 3, 2001

Subject: Accreditation Steering Committee

I would like to recognize and publicly thank the members of the College Community who have agreed to serve on the newly formed Accreditation Steering Committee. The work of this ad hoc committee will extend over the next two years and is critical to the successful reaffirmation of NIC's accreditation.

The 30+ individuals listed on the attached page were chosen to represent all aspects of our institution and will be responsible for guiding us through the self study process scheduled to begin next fall. Please note the demographics of the committee on the back of the second page.

Please join me in wishing this group the best of luck with their important assignment.
