Meeting Notes - Friday, May 7th 2004, 10:30a - 11:30a

Reviewed progress of Report Inventory process. Kathy shared how Management Team Meeting went. Ann will bring a printout of what has been submitted so far so the RT can began to analyze it.  

An overview of reporting tools and responsibilities of various groups was presented by Charley.  The tools listed were Query Builder, Safari, Entrinsik, Uniquery, OLAP, web based reporting (ie. .asp pages) and Standard reports.  Tool selection will be dependent upon the purpose, ease of use and ease of administration.   

The groups included Power Users (aka Information Centers consisting of Registrar's Office, Office of Planning, Assessment, and Research, Business Office, Human Resources, etc.), Standard Users, and Executive Users.  The IT group was viewed separately, with Brad being assigned those duties of using the Envision Toolkit.

Discussion of datamarts was also included.  Among other items, trend data will be found in a datamart.
