Report from Kathy & Steve on the presentation of the Reporting
Principles
- A lot of interest was shown
- Only a small amount of time was given to the presentation
- Wait a bit and bring it up again so they have time to absorb the
information
- A concern about reclass of positions was expressed when talking
about the 2nds
Report from Kathy & Steve & Charley on the Datatel Steering Group (DSG)
- DSG includes the right representation
- Lots of topics were discussed including R18,
Institutional Reporting, Degree Audit, Portal, etc
- Will meet every 3 weeks
Items assigned
- Steve will distribute Datatel Information Paper
to DSG
- Charley will email RST with budget information
(from RST)
- Office of Planning, Assessment, and Research will
put together a list of existing regulatory reports (ie. PSR, IPEDS)
- We all need to help build a clear and uniformed
vision
