Meeting Notes - March 29, 2007

Attendees:  Kathy Christie, Steve Ruppel, Charley Cahill, Lisa Clark, Ann Lewis

There was discussion re: training:

  • New employees and their training needs
  • Formalized training from Datatel is necessary is some cases
  • Lisa facilitates technical training (Datatel etc.)
  • Professional Development week - is mostly faculty focused (hard time for staff to get away)
  • Lisa will bring a list of previous trainings to the next meeting

There was discussion re: technical liaisons:

  • Lisa will bring a copy of the job description to the next meeting
  • Ann will bring a grid of who those people are in each of the information centers

The purchase of the ETL tool is underway.  This fiscal year there will be a pro-rated amount as well as training for Lisa and Ann.  Each year from this point will have a yearly fee for the ETL tool.

The report inventory needs to be revisited as well as the goals and objectives.
