Single Cylinder Hybrid Engine

This engine is a "Single Cylinder Hybrid Engine Demonstrator."
It was designed by J.R. Senft.
This engine incorporates some unusual features.
For instance a free displacer piston,
and an elaborate regenerator using ceramic wool and papers.

It was our first engine and still runs well.
We did, however, modify the crank using titanium.
