North Idaho College Scholarships

Scholarships are a form of gift aid that does not require repayment. Scholarships are generally awarded on a variety of factors including academic achievement, talent, athletic ability, leadership, geographical location, field of study, and/or financial need.

NIC Foundation Scholarships

North Idaho College students, both current and prospective, are encouraged to complete the NIC Foundation Scholarship Application. Students need only complete an application once per academic year and based on that one application will be considered for all NIC Foundation Scholarships. At this time, only the NIC Alumni Association , Roy and Leona Nelson Foundation, J. Douglas and Jan Bell Memorial scholarships, and Rotary Scholarships require additional materials (essay, financial statement, etc.).

While the bulk of our scholarship awards are announced between April and June, awarding takes place through out the year. If you are selected for a scholarship you will be notified by Cardinal Mail.

To apply for NIC Foundation scholarships, students should complete the NIC Foundation Scholarship Application and return it to the Financial Aid Office located in Lee-Kildow Hall.
