Signing in for the First Time
Cardinal Mail accounts are created within forty-eight hours of processing your Admissions application.
Cardinal Mail is managed via Microsoft Outlook Live.
Windows Live ID: MyNIC username plus "@students.nic.edu"
Password: "nic" plus your six-digit birthday
For example: John W. Smith, birthday 12/31/08
Windows Live ID: jwsmith@students.nic.edu
Password: nic123108
You are required to change your password and provide some basic information to complete your account setup. Be sure to complete your secret questions to help you remember your password in the future.
Official communication from North Idaho College (NIC) will be sent to your Cardinal Mail account.
