SFC Steve Howard

SFC Howard joined the U.S. Army in August of 1985 as an infantryman. He attended FT Benning, Georgia for his Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. SFC Howard served 2 years in Germany in a Mechanized Infantry Unit and drove trucks for a support platoon. He then served 2 years at FT Lewis, Washington as a Brigade level Operations and Training Member. SFC Howard then did 16 months in Korea as a SAW (squad automatic weapon) Gunner and Battalion Executive Officer Driver. From Korea he spent 2 years at FT Ord, California as an Infantry Team Leader and Squad Leader.

SSG Dannie Swanson

SSG Swanson started out her military career at FT Jackson, South Carolina in 1994 attending Basic Combat Training. She then went to FT Gordon, Georgia to attend her Advanced Individual Training. SSG Swanson was in the Active Duty Army for 5 years where she was in FT Lewis, FT Hood, Germany and Bosnia as a Communication Specialist. She then joined the National Guard where she went to school and got her B.S. in Justice Studies and her A.S. in General Studies. In 2004 she put her degrees to work and became a Probation Officer. She is now a full time recruiter for the National Guard.
