Department Description
The English Department is the home of NIC's literature and composition programs. We belong to a wider division that includes Modern Languages and Interdisciplinary Studies, since language and multi-disciplinary thinking are integrally linked.
Our English program is supported by the Writing Center, where students from across campus can get help from instructors on any writing assignment. In addition, we publish Trestle Creek Review, an annual literary and fine arts publication.
