NIC Financial Aid Office


The North Idaho College Financial Aid Office is committed to assisting students in paying for their education while assuming as little debt as possible.

Student ID Card to be Required beginning March 16th

Beginning March 16th, the NIC Financial Aid Office will only be accepting Student ID's as a valid form of identification. If students don't have a Student ID Card, they can stop by the Cardinal Card Office in the Edminster SUB to acquire one.

Need help completing your 2015 - 2016 FAFSA and NIC Foundation Scholarship Applications? The NIC Financial Aid Office is here to help!

Every Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm starting February 5th through March 26th stop by the College Skills Center in Kildow Hall to receive assistance from the NIC Financial Aid Office Staff to complete your applications.

Can't make it on Thursday? No worries, Wednesday, March 11th  from 4 pm to 7 pm stop by the NIC Financial Aid Office in Lee Hall to get the help you need.

Wednesday or Thursday still don't work? How about Saturday, March 7th from 9 am to 1 pm in McLain Hall. Stop by for one on one help for your applications! 

NIC Foundation Scholarship and FAFSA Applications available for 2015 - 2016. Priority of deadline is March 15th

The 2015 - 2016 FAFSA and NIC Foundation Scholarship Applications are now available! Log on to and log into your MyNIC Account to apply for scholarships.

Don't miss out on first come first serve funds. Complete your applications by March 15th! The NIC Financial Aid Office will begin processing applications in mid March.

2nd Student Loan Disbursement is March 27th

All student loan borrowers will receive the second half of their Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans on Friday, March 27th. If students have all "F" grades, a combination of "F" and withdrawals AND/OR who are not attending at least six credits will not receive their second disbursement.
