Purpose
To provide financial assistance for college or graduate school to Native Alaskans with ties to the Aleutian Islands who plan to attend college in any state.
Eligibility
This program is open to residents of Alaska who are;
- an original enrollee or descendant of an original enrollee of The Aleut Corporation (TAC)
- a beneficiary or a descendant of a beneficiary of the Aleutian Pribilof Islands Restitution Trust
- an original enrollee or descendant of an original enrollee of the Isanotski Corporation (IC)
Applicants must have earned a GPA of;
- 3.5 or higher for the Honors Scholarship
- 3.0 or higher for the Exceptional Scholarship,
- 2.5 or higher for the Achievement Scholarship
- 2.0 or higher for the Merit Scholarship
They must be enrolled or planning to enroll full time at a college or university in any state to work on an undergraduate degree. Along with their applications, they must include a letter of intent, up to 500 words in length, that covers their educational goals and how they intend to use their education in the Aleut community.
Financial data
Annual stipends are;
- $3,000 for Honors Scholarships
- $2,500 for Exceptional Scholarships
- $2,000 for Achievement Scholarships
- $1,500 for Merit Scholarships

1 year; may be renewed

The foundation began awarding scholarships in 1987
Number awarded
Varies each year; recently, 80 of these scholarships were awarded, including 20 Honors Scholarships, 37 Exceptional Scholarships, 14 Achievement Scholarships, and 9 Merit Scholarships.
Deadline
- June of each year for annual scholarships
- November of each year for spring scholarships.
