Purpose
To provide financial assistance to women and minority undergraduate students majoring in real estate or allied fields.
Eligibility
This program is open to members of groups underrepresented in the real estate appraisal profession. Those groups include:
- women
- American Indians
- Alaska Natives
- Asians and Pacific Islanders
- Blacks or African Americans
- Hispanics.
Applicants must be full- or part-time students enrolled in real estate courses within a degree-granting college, university, or junior college. They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need. U.S. citizenship is required.
Financial data
This stipend is $1,000 per year. Funds are paid directly to the recipient's institution to be used for tuition and fees.
