Purpose
To provide financial assistance Inupiat Natives who have ties to the Arctic Slope region of Alaska and plan to attend a college or graduate school in any state.
Eligibility
This program is open to U.S. citizens who are:
- a northern Alaskan Inupiat Native currently residing in the Arctic Slope region of Alaska
- an original shareholder of the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC)
- a direct lineal descendant of an original ASRC shareholder
Applicants must be attending or planning to attend a college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state as a full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student.
Along with their application:
- they must submit documentation of financial need
- and a short paragraph on their personal plans upon completion of study.

The stipend depends on the need of the recipient

- February of each year for spring quarter or early summer
- May of each year for summer school
- July of each year for fall semester or quarter
- November of each year for Spring semester or winter quarter.
