Purpose:

To provide financial assistance to members of the Colville Confederated Tribes who wish to attend college in any state.

Eligibility:

 This program is open to enrolled members of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher for their past 3 years of high school and/or college study. Applicants must be interested in attending a college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state. They should be able to demonstrate strong involvement in the school and community activities and a desire to have a positive future impact on the tribe.

Duration:

1 year; may be renewed.

Additional Information:

The Colville Reservation was established in 1872 as a federation of 12 tribes: Colville, Nespelem, San Poil, Lake, Palus, Wenatchee, Chelan, Entiat, Methow, southern Okanogan, Moses Columbia, and Nez Perce. The reservation is located in north central Washington, primarily in Ferry and Okanogan counties.
