Purpose

To provide financial assistance to Choctaw Indian college students who can demonstrate academic excellence.

Eligibility

This program is open to college students who have a Choctaw Adult Membership card.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate academic excellence and high potential.  They must register online with the Choctaw Honor Scholars Program.

Varies each year; a private donor provides $40,000 in funds for this program annually and the Choctaw Nation matches that (so a total of $80,000 is available annually).
