Purpose

To provide financial assistance for college to members of designated Pueblos in New Mexico.

Eligibility

This program is open to enrolled members of the following Pueblos:

  1. Tesuque
  2. San Ildefonso
  3. Nambe
  4. Pojoaque
  5. Picuris

 Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full time in an associate or baccalaureate degree program and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.  They may major in any subject area.  Financial need is considered in determining the amount of the award.

Financial data

The amount awarded varies, depending upon the recipient's financial need, up to $5,000 per year.  Generally, however, scholarships range between $1,000 and $1,800 per year.

Duration

1 year; may be renewed for up to 4 additional years.
