Purpose

To provide financial assistance to Native Americans interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in public health.

Eligibility

this program is open to American Indian and Alaskan Native full-time undergraduate and graduate students working on a degree in public health. Applicants must submit documentation of financial need, a Certificate of Indian Blood showing at least one-quarter Indian blood, proof of tribal enrollment, an essay on their educational goals, 2 letters of recommendation, and their most recent transcript.  Selection is based on merit and need.
