Purpose

To provide financial assistance to students of color interested in preparing for a career in the medical rehabilitation field.

Eligibility

This program is open to ethnically diverse students accepted at or enrolled in an institution of higher learning.  Applicants must be residents of Minnesota or have volunteered in a program of the Courage Center.  They must be able to demonstrate a career interest in the medical rehabilitation field by completing at least 200 hours of career-related volunteer service and must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Selection is based on career intentions, need, and or higher.  Selection is based on career intentions, need, and achievements, not academic rank.
