Purpose

To provide financial assistance for college to Native American and other minority high school seniors, especially those from a single parent family.

Eligibility

This program is open to minority high school seniors who are planing to attend college.  Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, be able to document financial need, and be sponsored by a minority dealer that is a member of the association.  They must submit a short essay (up to 100 words) on "Why I want to attend a college or university and what I hope to achieve by doing so." Preference is given to applicants from a single-parent family.  Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applications are available only from members of the Ford Motor Minority Dealers Association (FMMDA).
