Purpose 

To provide financial assistance for college to Native Americans and other minorities who can demonstrate leadership.

Eligibility 

This program is open to members of minority groups who are graduating high school seniors or current full-time undergraduates at 4-year colleges and universities.

Applicants must submit a 1,000-word essay on why they should be selected to receive this scholarship:

    • using their experiences within school, work, and home to display the challenges they have faced as a  minority and how they overcame adversity to assume a leadership role
    • they should also explain how their career goals and future aspirations will build them as a future minority leader

Financial need is considered in the selection process. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
