Purpose

To provide financial assistance to members of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians who are working on a degree in a field related to law.

Eligibility

This program is open to enrolled member of the Sault Tribe who are attending a 2-year or 4-year college or university as a full-time sophomore or higher. Applicants must be majoring in law enforcement, legal studies, political science, public administration, or tribal law. They must submit documentation of financial need and an essay of 300 to 500 words on how the scholarship will help them realize their goals.
