Purpose

To provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students, especially those of Hawaiian descent, who are preparing for a career in education.

Eligibility

This program is open to full-time

  • juniors
  • seniors
  • graduate students

who are planning to enter the education profession.

Applicants must have

  • GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • be able to demonstrate financial need
Preference is given to Native Hawaiians (descendants of the aboriginal inhabitants of the Hawaiian Islands prior to 1778) and current or former residents of Kaua'i.
