Purpose

To provide financial assistance to Hualapai Tribe Indians who are interested in obtaining a

 

  • diploma
  • certificate
  • or associate of arts degree

 

at a vocational/technical/junior college.

 

Eligibility

This program is open to enrolled members of the Hualapai Tribe who are 18 years of age or older and have graduated from high school ( or earned a GED) and plan to attend a

 

        • junior
        • technical
        • or community college 

 

on a full-time basis ( at least 12 credit hours.).

Financial data

The amount of the award depends o the need of the recipient and the acailability of funds.

Duration

1 year; may be renewed to a maximum of 24 months for vocational/occupation training or to a maximum of 36 months for registered nurse training.

Number awarded

A limited number are awarded each year.

Deadline

Applications must be submitted at least 2 weeks before each term begins.
