Purpose

To provide financial assistance to members of the Hualapai Tribe wo are interested in working on an undergraduate degree.

Eligibility

This program is open to enrolled members of the Hualapai Tribe who have graduated from high school (or earned the GED) and plan to attend college full time (at least 12 credit hours per term).

Grants are awarded in the following priority order:

 

        • continuing students in good standing
        • incoming freshman
        • adults who have previously attended or taken college classes
        • adults never attending college
        • repeating or probationary students

 

Financial data

Up to $5,000 per year.

Duration

1 year; may be renewed as long as the recipient maintains full-time academic standing and at least a 2.0 GPA.

Additional information

Recipients may pursue any area of study.

Number awarded 

Varies each year.

Deadline

 

        •  June of each year for fall term
        • October of each year for spring term
        •  March of each year for summer sessions.
